Very fun game! Fast and frantic. Game feels really good and satisfying. Some minor feedback (I know it's a jam game, feel free to ignore).
-When I first started playing (before I got used to the timing) I would often shoot the upgrades by accident before I knew what they were, since I just kept shooting as the level ended.
-Enemies warping in right on top of you can be frustrating, especially the ones that shoot bullets on death.
-Generally when a lot of stuff is warping in visibility is poor. Also, player's bullets stand out more than the enemy ones, and it can be hard to quickly orient yourself after dying when a lot of stuff is on the field.
-I appreciate the minimalism, but it would be nice if more information was on-screen. I often forget how many lives I have and can only see it when hovering over the upgrade. And with any upgrade that affects stats it would be nice to display the current value and how it will change.
-This is really minor, but it's not clear to me how the waves scale up and how that interacts with the # enemies
and # enemies required to clear upgrades.what downloadable version is the better one?

It's very good, the only thing missing is that you can set the shooting to automatic, so you don't have to keep the mouse pressed all day.
That's not a good idea.

please use different colors, it's very hard to distinguish your player color and enemies. confusing and hard to play.
Also beginning could be easier, to learn and not die after 5 seconds

Feels super addictive, but I cannot shake of being annoyed that the field of operation is so tight.
Anyway - I had fun!
awesome! One thing to improve for me would be the following: As it is crucial to know what is lethal and because it's a game designed only with 2 colors (if black is not counted) I would make only the bullets and enemies, whatever can hurt the player, red. So the explosion debris and other stuff doesn't get confused what the player needs to avoid.

Just wish I could know how much HP I have left. It's so stressful to not know.
It gets really hard to tell what is going on sometimes too, there's so much red. I wish only lethal stuff was red so I could tell more easily what will hurt me.

The game has potential but has drawbacks that might not appeal to a casual player, at least in my case. I don't understand what the objective of the game is besides shooting enemies and avoiding being killed, and getting the highest score. Another point is that I can't distinguish what is an enemy and what is an obstacle. I also have little reaction time when new enemies appear and rush at me or directly appear in my face. But whoever develops this game has great potential.

i think i found a bug. if you choose the "+10 damage, reset score mult" my score mult goes to 0 and i can't make it go up no matter what boon i take. I receive 0 points from killing an enemy.

Enemies and bullets should not be able to spawn above the player. Also particles.
i don't know who you are or where you got the idea from, but plz don't destroy this game - the play style and idea is balanced with moving, taking damage outside the circle while the circle is hell to small with 4HP to survive as a beginner (mind adding perks up to 6 HP? just an idea of mine) and confusing the player with too many moving particles when destroying enemies (that's a big plus NOT a minus) - i don't know if you should add auto-shoot (i personally don't), but if so, add it with a separate key bound or Dubble mouse click - im looking forward to more updates in the future tho! greetings TUNO ~

The game is fun... my only criticism is TOO MANY particles. They look cool sometimes but they are more confusing than cool looking.
i think the whole point is to distract you with the particles!
even if they are absolutely not nessessary- moving anywhere while you are in a small area constantly avoiding to be hit and because you only have 4 hp while each wave gets bigger and more out of control you need to have a fast working brain and hands while bullets and/or enemies moving towards ya - i think the hole idea is ment to make this deam difficult- not to entertain and "let us just play” like to reach perfect score 1. try!
But yes, I understand your concern very well, My brain is burning at the moment : D.
lol. I do think there is a good balance between confusing graphics and playability but I think this game overdoes it just a bit. If you start not being able to tell the difference between an obstacle and a particle there is a problem.
well of course, you're right that this IS a problem, and YES it is not good, overwhelmed with something is never good, still i think and there is absolutely no problem if you think otherwise that the colours in white gives the player enough information when a bullet is send, and where it goes, the rest is making it harder to spot- still, feel free to explain (only if you want to) what explicitly could make the game better for my understanding

Is there an auto-shoot? If not there should be.
Got a high score of 112100. This is awesome (especially for a one day jam, like what!). It's addictive in the best way possible. It looks and sounds so satisfying as well.
Like others have already said though, enemies can spawn on you resulting in a lot of situations where loosing hp feels impossible and while the effects are really satisfying, they are also really distracting and can make it hard to tell what's going on.
Would love to see if this goes any further
